Richard Griffiths Dissapointing Success avec Angry Letter :( - January 11th, 2012 [uSent 4/1/12[/u 2 sets of 3 photos (1 for me and 1 for my brother) 2 Trading cards LOR SASE Questionnaire [uRecieved 9/1/12[/u 1 Photo signed (unpersonalised) 1 trading card signed (unpersonalised Questionaire unfilled in My other photos and cards unsigned A two page A5 letter which reads : Dear Mr *******, Enclosed please find your own photos I have autographed two for you. How did you find my address? Obviously it was put on the internet by some “FAN” [uwithout[/u my permission. Now I get letters from all over the world. How much time of mine is consumed in replying? A Lot! Though there is NOTHING i can ask, I notice that “FANS” get lots of money trading signed photos on the net. I do not see loyal fans. The truth is that most of them are chancers looking for free money. I no longer supply photos. I wonder why I even need to sign autographs. It is nice for you I suppose, to have a hobby that you love to spend time on and enjoy. It may amaze you to learn that most adults and working teenagers are too busy making a living to be bothered with it. How many people who were involved in the making of the H.P films? Almost 2000. How many of them can you send bundles of autograph requests directly to their homes? Almost NONE. I dislike the inventiveness of complete strangers demanding my time and attention as if it was a free service to anyone with an internet connection – worldwide. Please don’t bother me again. Richard Griffiths - My 1st Harry Potter success! - October 30th, 2011 Helloooooo! I sent a LOR, a photo, and an SAE, along with a sheet of cardboard to prevent bending to the database address; Richard Griffiths Bearley House Snitterfield Road Bearley Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 0SJ UK On the 18th October (I think) I got the photo back personally signed, and hed written a little message on the sheet of cardboard, which made me laugh Got it back on the 23rd October! Richard Griffiths Success - October 13th, 2011 This is my first success as I am new to autograph collecting. Sent - 10/10/11 Received - 13/10/11 I was over the moon when I found my package (envelope) pushed through my letter box this morning. I cant believe how fast the reply was, he must have received it on the 11th and posted on the 12th. So happy! Anyway, here are the photos which he signed, I did ask for personalized but ah well, all the same --> EDIT - By the way, Im a Harry Potter fan so if anyone knows any other members of the Harry Potter cast who are fairly easy to get, I would love to know!
